In Genoa in 1885 Francesco Panarello started the great tradition by opening the first Panarello Confectioner's shop; in 1930 Panarello arrives in Milan, obtaining immediate success by opening two shops right in the city centre.
Today, the same extremely fresh specialties are produced daily in the laboratories in Genoa in Via Carso, in Chiavari (Ge) in Via Martiri della Liberazione and in Milan, in Piazza San Nazaro in Brolo, and are delivered to the confectioner's shops ready to be wrapped in the typical brown and white oblique-striped paper which has accompanied the brand for over a century.

Panarello Cake is a rich mixture based on almonds, sugar, eggs and butter, famous worldwide for its very particular fragrance and lightness.
